WiFi connectivity allows your station to capture and display forecast information from the National Weather Service (NWS); share your local data; and track home conditions from your phone once you download the free La Crosse View™ App. The base station operates on the included AC power cord with optional three AA battery backup. The wireless remote temperature and humidity sensor has a 400 transmission range and requires two AA batteries. The remote wind sensor also has a 400 range and requires two C batteries. No batteries included.
