This stunning Mermaid Side Table is inspired by the mythical beauties who dwell below the waves. Skilled artisans created the original design of a lovely mermaid holding a large Conch shell and then expert mold makers carefully break the sculpture into parts to create detailed champion molds.
Each part is cast in aluminum using either the lost wax or sand casting method. Artisans take the various cast parts and carefully weld them together. After several days of welding sanding and polishing the metal sculpture takes its final form and the patina artists work to complete a true masterpiece.
Our mermaid had a lovely blend of hand-rubbed bronze tones and patina-like painted finishes. Topped with a 22 diameter glass top this lovely table will add a dash of nautical fantasy to any indoor space.
